Jane Blonde, an investigative reporter for The Morning Star newspaper, wants the facts . . . just the facts about “the whole manger scene, wise men, baby Jesus story.” As she observes the rehearsals for the Christmas performance, the children teach her through their songs, scripture and “The Gospel Truth,” (a really catchy song) that there is overwhelming proof that the baby born 2,000 years ago in that manger is the Saviour of the World. This 37 minute musical includes nine songs, ten characters and is authored by best-selling musical creator Celeste Clydesdale.
The popular Stephen Curtis Chapman song, “Facts are Facts,” is one of the songs. The music is good and the lyrics clearly understood. Get the facts to the mystery of the manger as you explore this musical.
