Each time the fabric bag is turned inside out, it reveals a different colour, pattern or design which illustrates and links into the story as it unfolds before the children’s eyes! These Story Bags are perfect for use with kids aged 3 and up and ideal for using in church services, small kids groups, school assemblies, or community events, as an engaging and memorable way to share Bible stories.

Our Story Bags are incredibly easy to use, there is no special handling to learn, simply keep turning the bag inside out to move on to the next colour. Each Story Bag has a vibrant range of fabrics to link into the story being told, this may be with plain colours, for example in the Easter Story Bag there is ‘blue’ for Jesus washing the disciple’s feet. Some feature specially chosen patterned fabrics such as colourful animals for the Noah’s Ark story or masses of sheep for The Good Shepherd story! For that extra level of detail, some of the fabric may also have designs printed onto the coloured fabric such as a bold lion for Daniel or a basket for the Feeding 5,000 story.

Every Story Bag comes with a fully written, ready-to-use script PLUS an easy to follow summary so it can be quickly customised and adapted as needed to your own personal style. Our Jonah Story Bag features seven different fabric ‘turns’:
1) Brown – God told Jonah to go to Nineveh but he caught a boat going in the opposite direction
2) Blue (with whale) – There was a storm at sea and Jonah was thrown overboard and swallowed by a huge fish
3) Pink (with ‘3’) – Jonah was trapped inside the belly of the fish for three days
4) Tan – The fish spat Jonah out onto the beach, but Jonah kept his promise and went to Nineveh
5) Grey (with sad face) – Everyone repented and wore sackcloth
6) Green – Jonah should have been happy but sat under a tree and moaned
7) Red – God sent a worm to kill the tree and told Jonah to love the people like He does
