Where do I start?

Don’t worry, it’s a question we are often asked! This prompted us to launch our complete puppet starter set. Put together to give you all that you need to get started, whether using songs, scripts or solo puppetry including our training DVD and at the same time saving you a massive 15% off the normal price! We have chosen some of our most popular songs which are great to start with and will work perfectly with the puppets included.

The puppet starter set can be bought with or without the Basic Stage (including curtain and carry bag) so that it really meets your needs and budget. For guidance on how to build your own puppet stage and other creative ways of making a performance area for your puppet, check out our book “Puppetry Stages”.

Simply choose which two large people puppets you want to start with (we recommend a boy and a girl puppet to give you the greatest scope for songs) and which colour Dog in a Bag you would like. Also included are the arm rods and the puppet storage bag which will hold both puppets and the arm rods too. If you have never used puppets before, DON’T PANIC, gather some friends together, sit back and watch the training DVD, with your puppets of course, and away you go!
