Dog in a Bag puppets are ideal tools for Solo Puppetry. The bag enables you to teach object lessons with your character. Using objects to teach is nothing new, Jesus referred to everyday objects in his teaching. Having an object in the bag facilitates participation with someone from the audience and helps to fix the illustration and message into our memories. Also, the next time you use the puppet, the audience will want to know what is in the bag as soon as it appears! Solo puppetry is where the puppeteer stands in front of the curtain or without any staging at all on the platform or stage in front of the audience. Using ventriloquism the puppets can speak or using the whispering technique they can talk to you, with you then sharing what they have said with the audience. Key to this being effective is having a believable relationship with your puppet. Your puppet should be like a best friend with their own character, habits and personality. By animating and interacting with the puppet discover for yourself the potential of this style of puppetry.

Approx. 40cm tall (when positioned as shown in picture) and is suitable for use by both adults and children.
