This great bright orange and yellow snail character with a detailed shell is ideal for stories and object lessons, whether in church, tots groups or in schools. Works both as a solo puppet and within the stage.

Murphy can hide back in his shell and has metal rods in the antennas so they can be bent into position.

Measures 23cm tall and approx. 45cm long.

Murphy the Snail, or Sidney as we refer to him was another of the additions to our puppet collection to 2020, so as far as we are aware he is the only Snail known to ZOOM, that is the video conferencing system, rather than going fast! We used Sidney to promote of Holiday Club at Home', as just like Sidney the children didn't need to leave the comfort of their own home (in his case his Shell) to attend our Holiday Club as the pandemic meant that it all took place online'. Sidney is an amazing character, small but mighty! While his colours may not be particularly natural and I haven't yet come across a Snail with arms, both his colouration and the arms do really add to his vibrancy and give him a real personality. So if you are looking for a small puppet that can make a big impact why not choose this Snail, I'm sure you'd fall in love with him, just like me.
